Hello friends, welcome back. I'm Elizabeth. I'm Sarah and this is the Tiki Room. That's the Tiki.
Speaker 2:Room.
Speaker 1:Yes, we have a very special day today. We have brought in some of the Brannick graves and draper children into the table to talk about their. Oh, yes, sorry one draper one draper kid today, one Graves kid and one Brannick kid, and we are going to be talking about their Disney cruise experiences.
Speaker 2:Yeah, we thought it would be a great opportunity to talk to them and just get their feedback. I mean, Elizabeth and I love Disney, obviously, but it's important to know what the kids think. What are are the kids having a good time? Is it just us?
Speaker 1:Just so you know. They all three just left the room.
Speaker 2:They just left the room, they got to drag them back. This is what it's like being at Disney actually with the kids.
Speaker 1:Yes, so should we start by introducing them.
Speaker 3:Yes.
Speaker 2:Okay.
Speaker 1:Definitely All right, what's your name? Teddy, teddy, teddy, how old are you? Eight Teddy, who's your favorite baseball coach?
Speaker 3:You so good, chambers, good, what's your name?
Speaker 1:Chambers, how old are you? Eight, who's your. What's your favorite Christmas song?
Speaker 3:All of them.
Speaker 1:Read what's your name.
Speaker 3:Tater Tot.
Speaker 1:How old are you Eight and where did you celebrate your most recent birthday?
Speaker 3:Somewhere that I forgot.
Speaker 1:Somewhere you forgot Answer on the Disney cruise. That's right.
Speaker 2:Um read what did you when you there was like an emergency thing and what? Then we'll get into some more specific questions. There's some emergency thing that we had to do on the cruise. Did you yell anything out when we went into that meeting?
Speaker 1:Very beginning, where they told us how to use the life vests. What did you say on board when we were all sitting there in those chairs? What did you yell to the crowd? Do Ultimate hype man right here.
Speaker 2:This is great. I just I live to hear read, talk about fishing and hunting and do all he loves it all. Yeah, I know All right guys, you. We want to hear from you, the youngest kids, about what you guys think about the Disney cruise. Okay, it's important to know the other kids out here listening to this podcast. They need to know what do eight year olds think about the Disney cruise?
Speaker 1:Okay, so, teddy, what cruise did you go on and when did you go on it?
Speaker 3:The dream and I went in 2020.
Speaker 1:Right before COVID. Yes, and tell me, tell me, teddy, what, what, what was your favorite part about your room? How many beds did you have? Because you have six people in your family, right, four beds. Can you tell me what the bed setup was like?
Speaker 3:It was like, did you?
Speaker 1:have one big bed or two big beds.
Speaker 3:I don't remember.
Speaker 2:I think that for your family, because you had a lot of people in your family come Teddy right, you had like aunts and uncles and grandparents, cousins, so I think that some of the kids in your family got to actually go and stay with a grandparent in their room. Do you remember that?
Speaker 1:Yes, did you get to sleep on a fold out bed?
Speaker 2:You definitely slept on a bed. That would be very important to your mom. Yeah, yeah, yes. Yes of course.
Speaker 1:Okay, next up in the lineup we've got Chambers. Chambers, tell us, how many Disney cruises have you been on?
Speaker 3:Two.
Speaker 1:And what cruise ships did you go on?
Speaker 3:The Disney Dream. I went on first like I don't know how many years ago, but it was kind of a while ago, like four years ago, four, and I recently went on one like two weeks ago.
Speaker 2:Two days ago.
Speaker 3:Two days ago. Yeah, feels like two weeks Time after time, and that was a Disney wish.
Speaker 1:So good, Okay, tell me what the tell me about your room in 2000 and on the dream versus the wish.
Speaker 3:I honestly don't remember the dream like how.
Speaker 2:It was a dream. It was similar. We were just a dream. We had. What movie is that from? What is that? Pitch Perfect, oh gosh. Well, chambers, you slept in our room along with your sister, sydney, but Westline, she slept with Gigi and G Daddy in their room, and then another cousin slept in there too, so the two older, so the older cousins, they all switched off sleeping and getting to be with the grandparents. They got to have summer party and the Raleigh cousins, and so we had four person room too.
Speaker 1:Okay, so I really like how they stacked. They stacked the rooms which worked, because they had multiple rooms and multiple children and different numbers in each room. So that's cool. But so what did you do this cruise that you just got off two days ago? How did we sleep?
Speaker 3:The kids all had their own bed, but as usual mom and dad share a bed, so it was pretty much the normal setup.
Speaker 1:Did you sleep on the bed that came out of the ceiling, the bed that came off of the wall or the bed that was the sofa?
Speaker 3:So Westline stayed on the bed for all three nights that came down from the wall, and then Sydney. So the first night Sydney slept on the top bunk bed and then I slept on the bottom bunk. The next night we switched, and then that last night we switched again. I love that.
Speaker 1:Reed Brannick. Come on in.
Speaker 3:Step into my office.
Speaker 1:All right, buddy, tell me when was the first cruise you ever went on?
Speaker 3:Like two days ago.
Speaker 1:What did you go on?
Speaker 3:The wish.
Speaker 1:When you, okay, tell me about your room. How many bathrooms did it have?
Speaker 3:One, and it was amazing.
Speaker 1:No that one toilet. How many sinks did it have?
Speaker 3:Two Okay.
Speaker 1:And was the sink in the same room with the toilet? I mean, was the toilet in the same room with the shower?
Speaker 3:Uh no, Is it in a different room?
Speaker 1:What was I thinking, reed, tell us where you slept in that room.
Speaker 3:Well, the number was 9062 okay, that is great.
Speaker 1:I'm glad you remember that. Where did you sleep in that room? The?
Speaker 3:bathtub.
Speaker 2:I know it.
Speaker 3:I Slept in like a bunk bed looking thing. Oh there's a thing that they came down, but I Don't know did anybody visit you in our room While you were there? Tinkerbell.
Speaker 2:Tinkerbell. Yeah, how did tinkerbell come and visit you in your room?
Speaker 3:So I lost the tooth and then, and then the tooth fairy, I got two dollars and not a two dollar bill? Yeah two dollar bills and then the best part about this is there was a sign that said Tink, tink was here. Happy birthday.
Speaker 2:What so? What you're telling us, reed, is that if you lose a tooth on the Disney cruise or at Disney World, tinkerbell comes and leaves you pixie, dust and money.
Speaker 3:Yeah.
Speaker 2:Yep duh, so you heard it first here.
Speaker 1:People heard it heard it first, friends. Okay, I have another question. Okay, teddy, so on the Disney dream, tell me what your favorite thing about the whole cruise ship was. Probably pirate night. Pirate night, tell us what you did.
Speaker 2:What was it about pirate night that you liked to Teddy?
Speaker 3:Just just Seeing everyone dressed up as pirates, I guess.
Speaker 2:Oh yeah.
Speaker 3:Did they have fireworks?
Speaker 1:Yes, yes, okay. So what else did you enjoy during, like during the day, on your cruise ship?
Speaker 3:the ocean view the ocean view.
Speaker 2:Teddy, I Love that, I love that.
Speaker 3:We saw a dolphin jump out of the water.
Speaker 1:What Like in the middle of the ocean, oh.
Speaker 2:My goodness.
Speaker 1:There, it is okay. Chambers, okay, chambers. Tell me what your favorite thing to do on the cruise ship was um other than the kids club.
Speaker 3:Well, my second favorite is is honestly Everything else?
Speaker 1:Did you enjoy it? Did you get to see the princesses? Um yes was there anything different about a princess on the Disney cruise or a character on the Disney cruise versus a princess or character at Disney World?
Speaker 3:They were like multiple princesses and you had to wait in like a Line to like, and then you like went to one princess and then you moved to the next and they were like probably like four, five. So there's Cinderella, belle, rapunzel yeah, um, so Wouldn't be on. Ah, belle Juana and Cinderella, so five.
Speaker 1:Good job. Good job Okay, and did you see any other characters when you were on board? I think?
Speaker 2:Kind of in the very beginning, when you were sitting on Daddy's shoulders, we watched a show you saw. All of them Did you see the key?
Speaker 3:Yes, you saw all of the characters. Yes, but we didn't really get to meet them. We watched like a show, like when we got off the dock.
Speaker 1:That's so fun. All right, let's ask Reed what his favorite part was. I have a feeling I know.
Speaker 3:I told you I'm Tater Tot.
Speaker 2:Tater Tot. What was your favorite part of the cruise? Aqua?
Speaker 1:Mouse, Aqua Mouse Reed. After you wrote Aqua Mouse, did you just go over to the other slide and live your best life?
Speaker 3:Yeah, brah, okay, so my second thing is actually the Aqua Mouse, my third thing is everything else.
Speaker 1:Everything else. Okay, wait, what's your first favorite thing?
Speaker 3:My first favorite is actually the Aqua Mouse, my second favorite is the Kids Club and my third favorite is Everything else, everything else Okay.
Speaker 2:So, teddy, teddy just brought up a good point. Teddy, what was the slide called on the Disney Dream?
Speaker 3:The Aqua.
Speaker 2:Duck and tell us, do you remember anything about the Aqua Duck?
Speaker 1:I did not go on it. Did you not go on it because you didn't want to? Or did you not go on it because you were not tall enough?
Speaker 3:Because I just was too scared Same.
Speaker 1:So you had a fear of the Aqua Duck, like I did Tower of Terror I didn't want to go on.
Speaker 3:It so bad.
Speaker 2:Yeah, now you're older. Wiser Vacation, Tony Yep. Let's say that Teddy, you didn't get to do the Aqua Duck. Do you have siblings, though? That did the Aqua Duck.
Speaker 3:Yes.
Speaker 2:Did they seem to like it.
Speaker 3:Yes.
Speaker 2:Yes.
Speaker 3:That's what made me like I said, it was like really fun. So that's what made me like really want to go on it now.
Speaker 2:Yeah, you definitely need the opportunity to go on the Aqua Duck or the Aqua Mouse, really selling this?
Speaker 1:We are Okay. Chambers, tell me something. What was your favorite thing about the ocean ear club?
Speaker 3:Probably that there was a stone goes area and you got to flip like a bunch of switches. And then there were, like these tablets that, like you just scan your magic band somewhere and then, like that, you click something and then, like, you have to scan a code, like really quick.
Speaker 1:Did you see any Star Wars characters?
Speaker 3:Yes, I got to like go somewhere. They said go to the Star Wars area if you want to see Chewy in Gray.
Speaker 1:Wait, did you see them?
Speaker 3:Yes.
Speaker 1:Well, you saw Chewy and Ray.
Speaker 2:Obviously Chewy, chewy and Ray. Did you tell?
Speaker 3:her that you love her. Yes, she's mad. I love Chewy, the person who's your favorite animal, like on the Star Wars, some people said Polo, some people said the other people said Chewbacca Ewoks.
Speaker 1:What did you?
Speaker 3:say, though Most people and me said Chewy, oh good answer Okay, did you go to the Hyperspace lounge? I did and I got to see it go into Hyperspace. That is so cool.
Speaker 2:Teddy, who are some characters that you got to meet? Did you get to meet any characters when you were on the cruise?
Speaker 3:Yes.
Speaker 2:Who did you get to meet?
Speaker 1:Main six oh, did you just say the main six? The main six, like it's a band.
Speaker 2:How was that? Did you like meeting them on the Disney cruise? How was it different? Was it different at all from meeting them like at Magic Kingdom or, you know, meeting them on the cruise.
Speaker 3:It's just weird seeing them in a different place, because I was more used to Disney at the time.
Speaker 2:That is true, you are so great, teddy, I know. Did they have like different kind of costumes when they were on the cruise?
Speaker 3:On pirate night. They did.
Speaker 2:That's awesome.
Speaker 1:Reed Brannick, come over here and tell me your favorite part about the Oceanier club.
Speaker 3:Going to the Marvel's place.
Speaker 1:What did you get to do? Oh sorry, tater Tot, what did you do at Marvel? Tell me.
Speaker 3:I got to like fight people and this terrible screen Okay, so not in real life.
Speaker 1:On TV. Did you get to become a Marvel character? So it was like a virtual reality type situation, a cartoon, oh wow, okay, let's not be as sassy as you're being right now. What did I say? Okay, tell us how you would get into the Oceaneer Club.
Speaker 3:Oh, you go down the slide or you could take the stairs. Wait and washing your hands. Washing your hands is the best thing, but the toilet is too small.
Speaker 2:Toilets are small little people, but the hand washing stations were kind of cool.
Speaker 1:I'm going to ask one question one last question what was your? Favorite thing that you ate, starting with Teddy.
Speaker 3:Breakfast definitely pancakes oh pancakes yes.
Speaker 1:Reed Brandek, what was your favorite thing that you ate on the ship? And I know that there's two things, so tell me both.
Speaker 3:That's three. It's hot dog, chicken nuggets, chicken nuggets.
Speaker 1:Ice cream. What flavor ice cream did you get?
Speaker 3:Chocolate.
Speaker 1:Chambers.
Speaker 3:I only got chocolate.
Speaker 1:Oh, but what was your favorite thing that you ate on the cruise ship?
Speaker 3:Chocolate ice cream.
Speaker 1:Oh, so good. I love that. Did you have a favorite restaurant?
Speaker 3:Probably the Arundel.
Speaker 2:Arundel restaurant. I had a feeling so, oh, wait you had one, it is a 1923.
Speaker 3:Walt Disney, that was your favorite. Yeah, duh.
Speaker 2:Wow, I think he's saying duh.
Speaker 1:I don't know, teddy, that makes sense.
Speaker 3:Yabra.
Speaker 2:Yeah, bra. This is the final question. Ok, now that all of you have been on a Disney cruise, would you want to do it again?
Speaker 3:Yes, yes, yabra, possibly yes. So can I play video games now? No, with 15 billion question marks, oh no. Exclamation points.
Speaker 2:Exclamation points yes.
Speaker 1:Do you think that we should all go together?
Speaker 2:Yes, we should definitely yes.
Speaker 3:I say yes, but I'm warning you it is going to be crazy. It's going to be a wild ride, if we ever did that.
Speaker 2:All right, can I?
Speaker 1:have all of you friends say thank you for tuning in to the Tiki Room on the count of three One, two three.
Speaker 3:Thank you for turning into the Tiki Room Exclamation points and make sure to subscribe to Tater Tots Markers.
